Ultimate Santana

2008 reissue housed in a deluxe cardboard slipcase. This single disc anthology brings the legendary guitarist's best recordings of his Arista Records era together with his greatest classics from the Columbia Records years on a single compact disc. Among the 18 tracks are the chart toppers 'Smooth', 'Maria Maria', 'Black Magic Woman', 'The Game Of Love' (with both Michelle Branch and Tina Turner), 'Oye Como Va' and many more. Sony/BMG.
Customer Review: big mistake
YUK! I just recently started downloading mp3s and really screwed up when I bought this thinking it would be the Carlos Santana music I knew in the 60s. What else would "Ulitmate Santana" mean? Instead most of the album is just Santana accompanying some bozo singing stupid disco type songs. My bad. Remember, when it says "featuring so-and-so" it usually means you better like so-and-so and not care too much about who the titled performer is.
Customer Review: Great songs, but...
Carlos Santana has very few bad albums, or even bad songs. (Stay away from his collaboration with John McLaughlin though.) If you're looking for a one-disk compilation and are familiar with his later songs plus his late 60's hits, the songs here will be familiar. But... try Caravanserai, Borboletta, or some of his other unbelievable albums from "in between". If this is all you know of Carlos Santana, you have a lot to discover! What you hear on this disk is just an introduction. I give this review 4 stars rather than 5 not because there are bad songs on this CD (there aren't), but because you, as a Santana listener, deserve more.

Learning jazz guitar can be intimidating and overwhelming for a beginning student. Unlike styles like rock, blues, and classical, jazz guitar demands that a musician master a wide variety of skills, including jazz guitar scales.

If you are absolutely fresh on jazz guitar, the first thing you've got to wrap your fingers around is the major scale and its modes. It's the reference against which all other scales are defined. Learn them in position as well as up and down single strings. It's also cool to practice them in one, two, and three octaves.

Once you've got those under your fingers and in your ears, it's time to start learning the melodic minor scale on guitar. The difference between a melodic minor scale and a major scale is only one note, the flat third. The melodic minor scale also has some really cool sounding modes, like lydian dominant which works over a 7#11 chord.

It's also important to learn your pentatonic scales. Most guitarists coming from a rock, blues, or country background are already familiar with the minor and major pentatonic scales, and if you aren't you have to check them out. The blues scale is also useful.

A common trap that students of jazz guitar fall into is only practicing scales up and down. Of course, it's important and is the first step to mastering jazz guitar scales. But if you're at a point where it's comfortable to play ascending and descending scales and you feel comfortable with the notes, the next step is to start practicing intervals and sequences. Also, try to vary the rhythm in your scale practice.

Learning jazz guitar scales is an essential part of mastering jazz guitar.

Complices

Luis Miguel returns in 2008 hotter than ever with his long awaited studio album, Complices. This sensational worldwide music artist has released 23 albums and sold over 52 million albums in his career. Internationaly known for his romantic ballads, crooning vocals, and chart topping hits, Luis Miguel has sold out shows around the world. Manuel Alejandro has joined in the production of Complices bringing even more star power to this this album.
Customer Review: A good album destroyed by three songs
The album Should have not included the three songs mentioned in the previous review. These songs cut the flow of the mood, they are faster and over produced. I can't believe Luis Miguel is still singing those poppy cheesy styled songs he used to sing in the eighties. It is a shame to ruin such a great line up of songs with three songs that should have been sung by Tom Jones. I believe an album that consists mostly of ballads should include mid tempo, sexy, groovy songs to break the monotony, not cheesy poppy disco songs with choruses that will make your woman jump out of your bed and attach herself to the ceiling like a freaked-out tarantula. Luis Miguel should sing ballads,R&B,soul,Jazz, even sexy chilled-out house, but leave those songs for Tom Jones, he is the king of that style.
Customer Review: Now the marvel of Complices.
This disk is for the sensitive people and the people that understand music. It's not a contemporary radioplay. Luis Miguel interprets beatifully every song. Passion and provocative poetry are in each song of the disc. Luis Miguel and Manuel Alejandro created a great joy for those who know about music.

Intros, Endings and Turnarounds for Keyboard: Essential Phrases for Swing, Latin, Jazz Waltz, and Blues Styles

Learn the intros, endings and turnarounds that all of the pros know and use! This new keyboard instruction book by John Valerio covers swing styles, ballads, Latin tunes, jazz waltzes, blues, major and minor keys, vamps and pedal tones, and more.
Customer Review: This book is fun ...
The book has well written, very musical phrases. The author suggests usage with several standards that should be in everyone's play book and it's fun to work them in with tunes you already know - in the proper keys. Take them apart, and there is something to learn in most of them. Great for browsing. The printing is good and the binding isn't troublesome on the rack. Nice experience. I would have rated it a five, but some of the pages have a tendency to work loose.
Customer Review: I love this book
I try to spend a half hour with it every night. This book will appeal to a wide range of interests. Whether you are a composer interested in theory, or a keyboardist enhancing your chops, there is something here for you. Most examples are four-measures long, but rich in musicality (kind of like what the Bach chorales are for those studying classical music.) The examples progress from simple chord progressions to more complex, and each is one is clearly explained. Nice melodies too! It is apparent that the author has spent a lot of time with each of the sub-genres (swing, ballads, blues, Latin, etc.) and has distilled his knowledge into a neat recipe book that will serve as a launching point for those wishing to further their expertise.

Here is a brief guide to using beginner electric guitar tabs to help you learn and accomplish your electric guitar playing goals.

If you are new to learning guitar, Using guitar tabs is an incredibly easy way to get started. But you may not know how to read them and how to go about using them to learn the songs you want to. Guitar tabs is a system that has been made exclusively for guitarists and other stringed instruments. It differs from reading music as it does not tell you how long to play each note, but it is just effective to help you learn where the notes are on the guitar and where to put your fingers (which really is what playing the guitar is all about!)

when reading beginner electric guitar tabs you will see six lines spread across the page, these represent the strings on the guitar, on the lines you will see numbers, these are the fret numbers of where you will be placing your fingers. you will read them from left to right as if reading a page in a book. A good tip is to actually listen to the song you are learning and follow along with the tab to see how long each note is to be played.

Many guitar players use guitar tabs as a way to start them off. I know i did, and learning them will save you many hours of confusion and Will help you progress quickly and have a lot of fun in the process.

Looking for tips and inspiration on how to become a proficient and talented guitarist? Check out simple guitar tabs to help you take your playing to the next level.

Yellowcard - KNOCKOUT Women's T-shirt, Chocolate

Yellowcard is a rock band from Jacksonville, Florida. Their music can be classified as pop punk, and contains elements of emocore. A distinct characteristic of the music of Yellowcard is their use of a violin, making them somewhat unique within this genre

Okay, so its not rocket science. Its not opera. Its probably not music that somebody will listen to a thousand years from now. But still, I like it.

Ive liked funny music since I first started listening to music. During my grade school years in the 60s there were a bunch of great records. One of my earliest memories is of Alan Shermans "Hello Muddah Hello Faddah," which was actually based on Ponchielli's "Dance of the Hours" from La Gioconda, so maybe funny music is classy after all.

I also loved "Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-dot Bikini" by Brian Hyland, "Alley Oop" by The Hollywood Argyles, featuring Kim Fowler (a respected songwriter who wrote lots of serious songs), and whole albums of songs by Ray Stevens, who made a career out of funny music. The 60s seemed to be a golden age for funny music. The songs were all singable, so even after you got the joke, they were still fun to listen to.

Other decades had their novelty tunes as well, from the Itty Bitty Fishy song back in the 30s, to "Dont Worry Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin (a respected Jazz vocalist,) to "The Man Song" by Sean Morey. And lest we forget, there is the infamous "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" by Dr. Elmo, which has had amazing staying power over the last few decades.

When I started writing and performing music, I always gravitated towards funny songs, and found that they worked amazingly well in my shows. You could do a great version of "Freebird" and the audiences would smile politely. If you made up a funny song on the spot about something happening in the news, it seemed that they would flock to the stage and ask where they could get a copy of that song about John Bobbitt.

So I seem to have made a career out of funny music of my own, which, by the way, you can check out on my website. But that wasnt enough for me. I thought that since there are so many people out there performing and recording great funny music, they needed a place of their own. And thus, Picklehead Music was born, and has grown into a many-headed, comedy-music monster. Who knows where it will all end? Hopefully continuing to lighten up peoples lives and to have them forget their troubles long enough to listen to a song like "Lots Of Things Rhyme With Duck," complete with quacking.

So go ahead, laugh. And check us out at picklehead.com. Were carrying on a tradition here. Honest.

Wayne Faust is a music and comedy performer, who also runs Picklehead Music, a site devoted to showcasing funny music, along with some great acoustic and variety artists.

Coldplay: Look at the Stars

Author and musician Phil O'Brien explores the ascension of one of the most popular and acclaimed new rock bands. She tells the story of their rocky rise, looks at the effect of fame on the band, especially on lead singer Chris Martin, and delves into the complex emotions of their music. It's all here — Martin's relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the endless gossip, the extraordinary commercial highs (their second album, A Rush of Blood to the Head, was the number-one album in 12 countries within a week of release), and the emotional lows of life on the road. Coldplay describes all of the band's activities to date and contains over 40 black and white photos, offering a timely appraisal of its future — rock superstardom on a par with that of long-running internationally renowned bands such as Oasis and U2.

Customer Review: Coldplay rocks!
I borrowed this book from a friend and I'm buying my own copy after reading about what is the complex group of individuals known as Coldplay. I was very perturbed at the few mentions of how much Chris Martin was teased as a kid because people believed he was gay (so what if it was the case, which it isn't?) and how critics continue to put down the most original group that has graced music in about a decade. I'm also a bit tired of hearing the wisecracks about Martin's looks (I think the man is cute and very charming, along with the rest of Coldplay). The first Coldplay song I heard on the radio was "Clocks" (from "A Rush of Blood to the Head") and I, at first, thought it was a new U2 single (not realizing, until I read this book, that Coldplay idolizes U2). I was hooked from then on. I recently sat down and listened to the entire "X&Y" album again and appreciate their songwriting and vocal abilities more than ever. The group is a welcomed breath of fresh air in this day and age of corporate "music" (undertalented and overexposed starlets doubling as singers, rappers rapping over drum machines calling women every derogatory name in the book and videos being nothing more than glorified porno film shorts). Phil O'Brien exposed Coldplay for what they really are: A complex group of individuals who value their art and their talent is appreciated (screw the naysayers!).
Customer Review: I wish I could give it even more stars
I'm a little old for a Coldplay fan (53), but I "discovered" them when I watched them play at Live8 in July 2005. Chris Martin is far from "boring" as this book attests. He's interesting, smart, funny, complex, deep and - yes - a nice guy who can get in touch with his feelings and express them beautifully in his wonderful songs. I was already a fan of Chris' wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and was glad to see that the book dealt with the relationship. It made me dislike the "STALKerazzi" even more. Vultures! The book really told me a lot that I was dying to know about the band, especially their charismatic frontman. I highly recommend it.

Sure, "art for art's sake" is cool... but what if you're pursuing a career as a
songwriter? This article is full of suggestions for how you can tailor your songs to
suit the requirements of music business professionals.

Many of us bemoan the state of commercial music today, but what are you doing to
improve things in your own microcosmic corner of the universe? Are you working to
create the next wave of great material songs that have a lifespan of more than a
few weeks or months? How can you use your talents to actually make a powerful
contribution... and make a living while you're at it?

The first step is to take a good look inside and explore what you as a unique
individual have to say, lyrically and musically. What do you think about, believe in,
stand for? What makes you tick? These precious truths that bubble up from the soul
provide the driving force behind great songwriting. These sparks of inspiration,
these "aha! moments," are what listeners crave when they play a song. They're also
what People Behind Desks are desparate to find. Do you have the courage to lay
bare your personal truth in public? I firmly believe that's what it takes to achieve
success with your songs.

The cynical among us will say, "no, you just need the right equipment, a catchy
hook and a whole lot of money behind you." Sure, those things help, but if you're
trying to break into the business, your song has to simultaneously grab people by
the guts, tickle their ears, and slam them over the head like a 2-by-4. Strive to write
songs that take risks, tap into the universal via the personal, and motivate people to
laugh, cry, feel, dance or take action. Make an effort to innovate, not imitate what's
already out there. In other words, write your passion. Songs miraculously translate
to listeners the exact emotion you felt while you were writing them. Do your best to
work that magic!

Another quality that professionals look for in a song is strong dynamic flow. Skillful
use of the many conventions of songwriting can manipulate listeners in the most
enjoyable way. Don't be afraid to push those emotional buttons! Here are some
ways to go about it:

Suck listeners in with lyrical, melodic and chordal tension.

Create a question in their minds: how will this turn out in the end?

Throw their bodies off balance with chords or melodies that are unexpected or
quirky.

Take a strong point of view that's boldly provocative, unique or intensely
felt.

Paint a vivid picture in the mind's eye.

Set a palpable mood.

Construct an entire sonic and/or lyrical environment.

Once you have piqued people's interest, crank up their involvement using all the
techniques in your lyrical toolbox, i.e. rhyme, meter, imagery, metaphor,
alliteration... you name it. Avoid clichs like the plague, or turn them on their heads
somehow. Experiment until you find the melody lines that best show off your lyrics,
and vice versa. Salt your song with enough repetition to make it memorable, but not
so much that it becomes predictable. Use chord progressions that are fresh,
stimulating the ear rather than lulling it into complacency.

When it comes time for the ultimate payoff, your Hook, don't settle! This is your
Money Shot, and most music biz pros will hit the "eject" button if they don't hear a
strong hook in one listen. One listen! Here are a few ways to enhance your hook:

Construct your song so that all roads, lyrically and melodically, lead to your
hook.

Remember that famous music business adage: "Don't bore us, get to the
chorus."

More hooks is merrier! Instrumental riffs, backups, rhythmical chord movement,
and verse melodies can provide secondary hooks.

Fear not repetition (up to a point, of course).

Throw in memorable "monkey wrench" words that stand out.

Make sure the world can sing along.

Play with the language: use slang, twists of phrase, even invent a new word!

Finally, People Behind Desks really appreciate it if you know your marketplace. Don't
submit a country ballad when their artist is a heavy metal guitar-shredder. And if
you're the performer, have at least 3 crowd-pleasing, radio-ready songs in hand
before you shop a deal. Make a detailed study of the hits in your chosen genres, and
incorporate those lessons into your work. The Internet has made it incredibly easy
to educate yourself about what's selling these days, so there's no excuse for
ignorance.

Look at the world for a moment from the perspective of a music industry pro: They'll
respond positively if they think your song will save their job. By bringing them
dynamic, single-worthy, heartfelt material you'll be well on your way to doing just
that, and creating a career for yourself as well.

Happy songwriting!

2006 by Alex Forbes

Award-winning hit songwriter Alex Forbes has seen over 65 of her songs released, many of them landing on the Billboard charts, on TV and in feature films. We've all seen them. Tourists, that stick out like sore thumbs. Yet when we travel, we forget about the tourists we've seen and make the same mistakes. Blending in isn't just for tourists. There are plenty of foreigners who live and work in foreign countries and forget how important it is to adapt to the host country. Not looking like a tourist has many advantages. Below you will find some tips on how to blend in while in Latin America.

Why Blend In?

For starters, it's safer to look like a local than a tourist. Tourists are often targeted by thieves and pick-pockets. And given the special tourist prices, which are higher than the normal prices. Second, dressing like a tourist can be disrespectful at times. For example, when entering churches or cathedrals in Latin America, you shouldn't wear sleeveless shirts, shorts or flip-flops. Third, you won't get stared at or pointed at for being a gringo.

Blending in is two parts, physically and socially. Physically involves what you look like and socially involves how you act. While there are somethings that you can't change, there is plenty that you can. Taking Latin American cultures and customs into consideration is that polite thing to do and will help you will enjoy your time here.

Blending in Physically

While there are plenty of blond haired, blue eyed Latin Americas, there are far more dark haired and dark eyed ones. And on the whole, Latin Americas are shorter than their American or European counterparts. And although they aren't super thin, they are not very heavy either, but rather in between.

Obviously there's not much that you can do about your height. And apart from dying your hair or wearing contacts, you probably can't change those features either. However, your physical appearance is more than just this and your clothes and accessories that you use can either help you blend in or cause you to stand out.

Let's start with clothing. For the most part, cargo pants aren't used by most Latin Americans. So if you're wearing them, it's a sure sign that you're a tourist. Shorts are mainly used for the beach, although some women do wear them in the city. Be aware that showing your legs is an open invitation to whistles, stares and kisses being blown at you. Both men and women use jeans and they tend to be tighter than the jeans worn in places such as the USA. In the summer, women can wear skirts and men shorts.

Shoes are also an easy way for people to tell if you're a tourist or not. Ditch the flip flops, they're beachwear, and Birkenstocks and opt for comfy dress shoes. Thousands of Latin Americans walk all over the place in dress shoes, so you can too.

Although there are tons of wonderful shirts that have the city or country that you've visited written on the front, save those for when you get home. Button down shirts or t-shirts for both guys and gals should be fine. Just keep in mind that clothing is worn a bit tighter than what you may be used to, so leave the baggy clothes at home.

Keep in mind that seasons are the opposite here than what they are in the northern hemisphere. And although it may be pretty cold where you are in March, it's actually the end of the summer and the beginning of fall. Locals start wearing fall clothing around that time, so if you show up in shorts and a tank, people will know that you're not from around here. In the summer months, January to March, it does get warm. But depends on where you are, it might not be as warm as what you're used to. Twelve hours of daylight mean that there's less sun and less heat. It tends to cool off at night, so be sure to bring a jacket with you.

Lastly, ditch the hats and sunglasses. Sombreros really aren't worn by the majority of the people here. Sunglasses are more of a fashion statement than anything. If you are going to wear sunglasses, make sure it's sunny. There's really no reason to wear sunglasses here in the middle of winter. And it should go without saying that walking around with a guidebook under your arm and a camera around your neck won't make you look like a local. Try copying the necessary pages of your guidebook and taking those with you. Stick your camera in a backpack or purse. As for money, and ID cards, just take what you need. If you're going out for coffee, you won't need 100 dollars. ID, passports, credit cards and the like should never be with you while you're out on the town. Carry a copy if necessary, but leave the originals in a safe place.

What Are Unlimited Free Download Sites?

Do you remember what Napster used to be? Unlimited Free Download Sites are very similar to the old Napster only much, much better. A really good unlimited free download site scans all of the files on their databases for viruses, trojan horses and other malicious baddies. They should never ever bombard you with adware or spyware. They should be between 250x to 300x faster than Kazaa in download speeds.

While trying to navigate through what could amount to a million files of music/mp3's, PC games, video games for Playstation 1,2, & 3, Game Boy, PSP, Nintendo Gamecube, DS, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, iPods, Zune, etc., Movies including all of the categories like drama, westerns, romance, sci fi, fantasy, sports, comedy, adventure, horror, thrillers, suspense, etc., old black and white movies and new releases, TV shows, TV series, music video's including rock, jazz, hip hop, alternative, rap, classical, country, christian, pop, techno, operas, easy listening, etc., plus music in different languages, tons of assorted software, concerts, and lots more. It could easily become overwhelming and complicated to some.

An unlimited free download site worth it's salt will have an easy-to-use members area with step-by-step manuals and/or videos that will take you by the hand and show you how to download all of music, movies, games & more. They will show you step-by-step how to rip and burn or back-up cd's and dvd's. Lastly, a good unlimited free download site will have all of the tools that are needed to perform all of the jobs I just mentioned and more plus have technical support available 24/7 to answer your questions.

Meet These 5 Criteria Or Else!

Here is a list of five criteria that all unlimited free downloads site should strive to meet.

1) What's This Going To Cost You? - There are two different "fee" systems out there with different variations for each one. There is the pay-per-download system where you would pay a separate charge for each and every mp3, movie or game file that you download and then there is the unlimited downloads membership site system. I believe that you get more bang-for-your-buck by joining an unlimited free downloads site. Most of the unlimited downloads sites offer different lengths of time for your membership. By far, the best deal is the lifetime membership which includes everything that the site has to offer without paying any extra fees. By everything I mean that many of the unlimited downloads membership sites give you as part of your membership the software that is needed to "rip & burn" your own cd's and dvd's.

You will also find that if you join a music site for instance, not only will you be able to download unlimited mp3's for your mp3 player or iPod, but the sites library will also include movies, games, software, eBooks and more products for you too download. Even though many of the membership sites offer a cornucopia of products to download, just remember that if you are mainly interested in movies, than join a movie site because although they have other products for you to download, their emphasis will be on movies.

2) A Wide Enough Variety To Appeal To Everybody - People have different tastes in there movies, music and games. The movies downloads sites should have a good selection from all or most of the movie genres such as drama, suspense, romance, comedy, horror, science fiction and fantasy, etc. They should also have movie selections covering the past (the old black and white movies) and the present (the newest blockbuster releases) and everything in between.

Music downloads or mp3 downloads sites should have selections covering all or most of the wide array of music categories and sub-categories out there today such as jazz, rock and roll, r&b, soul, hip hop, opera, classical, big band, rap, etc., plus carry music selections from the early days until today.

The games downloads sites should offer downloads from all or most of the different games categories such as strategy, roll playing, action, puzzle, educational, sports, etc. They should offer games selections for the different platforms available such as PC, Mac, Playstation, Nintendo, and Microsoft etc. plus carry games for the different game platform models such as Playstations 1, 2, 3 and PSP Gamecube, Gameboy, Gameboy DS and Wii, xBox and xBox 360, Zune, etc.

3) How in The World Does This Thing Work! - Ease of use is very important because there is nothing more frustrating than paying for something only to find out that not only is it too darned difficult to figure out, it makes you feel like an idiot, and that fun rush you just had anticipating playing with your new toy just came crashing to Earth because some nerdo wiz kid made a program too complicated for even Albert (freaking) Einstein to use and the instructions are in some unknown dialect. The members area should provide you all the tools you need to start downloading as many games, mp3s, videos and dvd quality movies as you can handle. The download sites need to be easy for you to use and had to have "How To Manuals" that are well written and easy for a complete novice to understand. They should have manuals to teach you how to create and mix your own cds, rip and burn your own cd and dvds, and other tasks.

4) Can't This Darned Thing Download Any Faster! - When it comes to computers, the saying "Speed Kills" has a completely opposite meaning. It means, "If this damned machine doesn't move any faster, I'm going to kill something." With that said, it is of paramount importance that your downloads site have the capability to download your mp3s, movies, games and software files at "Warp Speed", and while a lot of programs boast about how fast they are, we found that many of the companies failed to live up to their boasting.
If you have ever visited an unlimited free downloads site you may have noticed the site bragging about their lightning fast download speed of 250x. The 250x means that their download speeds are 250 times faster than the speed it would take to download a file at Kazaa.

Why Kazaa is always used as the comparison is because they always set the standard for the fastest downloads. Unlimited free download sites should meet the requirements for download speed which is at least 250x to 300x, but remember that their speed is only half of the equation. Your upload speed is just as important so if you are only connected to the Internet by way of a 56K modem, then don't kill the messenger. One last word of advice. It doesn't matter if you are using the fastest broadband connection on the planet. If you are going to download movies for your dvd collection, do it at night before you go to bed. Because of the amount of data (grahical and audio) it is going to take a very long time for your downloads. Load up your download before bed and when you wake up the only thing you will have to wait for is your popcorn.

5) "Is There Anybody Out There?" - Although I don't have a ton of verbiage for this criteria, it is probably the most important of the five. There is nothing that aggravates me more than getting little or no support when I run into a problem or have an important technical question about a product I just purchased. If you are going to be there to take my money, then you had better be there when I need assistance. The best companies offer great customer support 24/7 or as close to that as possible and have qualified technicians there to help you.

" Coldplay " : Live 2003 for Piano, Voice and Guitar

With just a sprinkle here, and a dash there, you can awaken your inner confidence in no time. The best part: there is already a treasure of confidence within you. Its in there, waiting. This is just an invitation to wake up and feel it. Confidence is a state of mind. Sexiness is simply how you feel as your glowing, confident self. Use these tips to bring out your most confident self.
Here they are: 5 sure-fire ways to help you REALIZE your beautiful glow.

1. Embrace you body. Everyone has a favorite body part. Maybe its your eyes, or your thighs, or your hands or your breasts. Maybe its your rump, or your lips, or yourwhatever. Embrace your favorite part by accentuating this part with how you dress and care for yourself. Serenade yourself with confidence once you learn your favorite part. This is a magical attribute, which deserves some light to be shone on it. Focus on the good, and the rest will soon fall in place.

2. Dance. Use music to unleash your confidence beast. Shes in there. Shes waiting to get out. Dance her out. You can dance like no ones watching or dance like everyones watching. Its up to you. You can follow your inner diva to create a unique dance made solely by you, or utilize the many sources the web has to offer by self-teaching yourself new moves of belly dancing, hip-hop or interpretive dance. Embrace your body as you move. Treat your body as an art as you swerve your way to your newfound confidence.

3. Give Compliments Freely. Other women you meet may have confidence issues, too. Infact, it is likely. And the strangest thing is that even the most beautiful, skinny, likeable women have self-esteem issues. Confidence is an attribute, which must come from within. Without it, you will never feel pretty enough, thin enough, or good enough. If you start giving compliments to other women, you are leading by example. We are in this together. We can learn to be beautiful together. Say goodbye to the days where other women are competition. The most confident women know it is sexy to give compliments and embrace the beauty in everyone.

4. Love your body now. Dont wait until its 15 (or 5 or 50) pounds lighter; dont wait until you get your new haircut or give yourself a manicure. Although it is important to take care of our selves, so many women see it as a precursor to loving our selves. Nothing could be farther from the truth. If you love your body now, you will intuitively know what else needs to be done to remain healthy and vibrant. Yes, perhaps you do need that massage after a killer week at work. No, most likely you dont need that nose job if you can fully embrace your unique God-given look as an original woman in her own sexy skin.

5. Dont point out your flaws. If I constantly said: I have such a flabby gut. Ughh, I hate my stomach. Look at these rolls Well, guess where you will soon be looking? Yep, you guessed it: my flabby rolls. Stop bringing attention to these not-so-favorite areas. Go back to rule #1. Embrace your body. If you have trouble with this rule, please continue to check back with rule #1. Embrace, embrace, embrace.

As you can see these five ideas are fairly simple. But how often do we forget to embrace our bodies and shine from within? Use these ideas to stay on top of your confidence game. In no time, youll get be confident and radiant and youll be soaring to new heights of beauty from your treasure of inner confidence.
