CENTER OF GRAVITY is the debut CD released by BC Priest. This former Chicago native has recorded and produced an original pop-rock influenced CD which combines his melodic guitar riffs, catchy rhythms and sexy, soulful vocal lines. "I hope my music takes listeners to a wonderful place--even if just for a little while," says BC. CENTER OF GRAVITY is part of BC's larger collection of multi-genre, evocative and motion-inspired works, spanning over two decades of writing. BC's style is a unique blend of influences from various artists who have defined modern rock music. He combines acoustic embellishments with driving electric guitars and keyboards in a powerful performance of each song.
BC is joined by legendary bassist, Barry Sparks, currently with DOKKEN. Barry has recorded on over 35 CD's and brings his unique signature to CENTER OF GRAVITY. Jim Pavett & Rick Katz from WARP 3 add their drumming & keyboard styles as well, & veteran L.A. drummer Todd Dollard & bassist Jeremy Race, from the midwest arenas, round out the players.

A bud just turned me on to this guy BC Priest. This band rocks. He/they remind me of different band styles and stuff. He has a mellower voice but it somehow makes sense. The band is kickin'. I like the first song, an instrumental & nothing like the rest of the CD. Believe is next song--very powerful. Threshold sounds like 3-4 bands combined--pretty cool stuff going on. Miles has a cool ending. Center of Gravity is very catchy. Reason is unique--cool. I don't know, I guess I like them all. Is this the only Cd he has out? I can't find others.

I was at BC's CD release party in Tucson and fell in love with BELIEVE immediately. He fools you with the Floydian sound in ORIGIN/ASCENSION but then it's just great vocals and emotion in a rock format! MILES AWAY stays in my mind for hours after I hear it!
